Jay & Michelle Michelle and Jay got married at a quintessential New England inn during November. The ceremony was followed by a rockin set by Jay’s band. Mom’s 50th Shindig My mom asked for a new road bike for her 50th birthday. Well she got a new road bike, a pinata stuffed with nips, and a surprise party! Julie & Chris Julie and Chris were married on the Olympic Peninsula, a supremely green part of Washington. Good food, lawn games, and dancing ensued. Julie & Chris Part III Page three of Julie and Chris’ wedding invite. Julie & Chris Part IV The RSVP card for Julie and Chris’ wedding. Julie & Chris’ Save the Date Sometimes you have to take a ferry to get to your destination. Just make sure you get to the terminal on time! Pig-n-a-Pod You say we’re going to camp under the hot summer sun, roast a pig, and swim in the lake? My car’s already packed. Pig-n-a-Pod Critical details for the Pig-n-a-Pod throwdown. Georgetown Ballroom This invite was created for the lovely Annette LeFebvre, who hosted an indie-vendor showcase at the equally lovely Georgetown Ballroom. How to Get Married It’s as easy as 1–2-3! Shawna & Dave Our vision for the wedding was an old-timey dance party. We drank old-fashioneds, cut a rug, and served Dick’s burgers late night. Didn’t they have Dick’s back in the day? Ashley & Jeff Save the Date Ashley and Jeff’s transportation-themed Save the Date. Ashley & Jeff Save the Date The info part of Ashley & Jeff’s Save the Date Ashley & Jeff Ashley and Jeff live in Brooklyn, NY and they love travel. Jeff really loves public transportation, so I developed this ‘Subway to Love’ themed wedding invitation. All aboard! Ashley & Jeff RSVP Tickets to ride cost $2.50. You can pay with quarters, or happy thoughts. Ashley & Jeff RSVP Detail The full view of the RSVP. Ashley & Jeff Menu See, I told you they love public transportation. They’re Finally Engaged! We all let out a sigh of relief when Ashley and Jeff got engaged. Jack n’ Jill This party was the most ridiculous family event I’ve ever taken part of. We had competitions that involved scooter racing in old lady dresses, jumping off docks, bb-gun shootouts, and a trivia game about Michelle and Jay’s courtship. Wild. Peace, Sun Sometimes in Seattle the sun is blocked by clouds for approximately 8 months. And that’s a scary prospect in October. Party Over Here You cannot throw a MetroCard in NYC without hitting a bodega. I miss that here in Seattle, but we do have 24-hour grocery stores that don’t smell like rotting fruit. Act Cool I love this little photocopied poster I made for my friend Greg. The guy’s fanny pack gets me every time. Midsummer Night’s Dream A Shakespeare play set to Beatles music? I like where this is going. Tacky Tie I created this for my Aunt Joanne and Uncle Marshall’s party when I was in grade school. I still remember this night. The party was hoppin’, at least it was before I went to bed at 8:30.
